SHEET RUBBER

EPDM

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer sheet provides outstanding resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure. It is highly recommended for applications where the elastomer will have excessive exposure to the environment. It provides excellent chemical resistance and dynamic properties Excellent resistance to UV rays and ozone. Good resistance to Anti-freeze, Synthetic Detergents, Acetone, Boric acid, Ethanol, Formaldehyde, Mercury, Potassium Sulfate, Silver Nitrate, and Steam. E.P.D.M. is not recommended for use in contact with petroleum oils or fluids.

Red Rubber (SBR)

Red Rubber is a blend of Styrene Butadiene Rubber and natural rubbers. Red Rubber is an excellent general purpose gasket material for air, hot and cold water, saturated steam and exterior service. It conforms easily to uneven flange surfaces. Red Rubber is the most cost effective rubber gasket option available for applications which require a sturdy industrial elastomer.

Natural Rubber

Natural rubber has high resilience, good tensile strength and good tear resistance. It does not perform well when exposed to chemicals and petroleum products. Natural rubber is inferior to many of the synthetics in heat aging, resistance to sunlight, oxygen, ozone, solvents and oils.

Buna-N (Nitrile)

Nitrile sheet has excellent resistance to all oils and grease products and withstands abrasion well.

Neoprene

Neoprene excellent resistance to Hydrogen Gas, Natural Gas, Salt/Sea Water, Butanol (primary), Acetic Acids (up to 20%), Ammonium Salts, Mineral Oils, Silicone Oils and Greases. Moderate oil, petroleum-based solvents and ozone resistance.

Silicone

Silicone retains good elastomeric properties at both low and high temperatures. Should not be exposed to fuels, solvents or silicone fluids. Silicone has excellent resistance to ozone, aging and weather.

Cloth Inserted

Available in a variety of elastomers: SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), Neoprene, Nitrile, and EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber). Cloth inserted sheet material are designed to add stability where mechanical fastening is necessary, and to reduce gasket creep where heavy flange loading is required.

Diaphragm Sheet

A fabric reinforced oil resistant neoprene blended sheet used to transmit motion between fluids. Premium components and superior properties for long service life. Makes an excellent weather stripping material.
